Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets for precious metal bullion products. This includes developing sales strategies, providing coaching and training to the sales team, and driving new business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals for bullion products such as gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bars/coins
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review metrics, discuss strategies, and provide coaching
- Identify new sales opportunities and manage lead generation efforts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Negotiate prices and terms with wholesale suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably in the precious metals or commodity trading industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of precious metal markets, pricing, and industry trends
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25%)
